Worth the wait...

After five days of periodic road closures and temporary interlodge, Alta Ski Area is reporting a base depth of over 100 inches! We've all had to be patient but skiing has been worth the wait. Lifts are all operating and smiles are sure to be had all around. Check out the grin on the lodge's own Jacqueline Pollard after she took second in Snowbird's Junior Freestyle Regional Comp! Congratulations!!

What's the weather blowing in?

Super windy at Alta today with the next three days full of new snow! We had a great Presidents Day Week with so many returning faces and families! We are all looking forward to more ski, ski, ski with another 6 weeks of the season to play with! We've also got some late season specials going on. The Alta Torchlight Parade with fireworks!!! Lifts load at 5:15PM, parade starts at 6PM!! Food Bank containers will be out all day so please bring a non-perishable item to help those who are hungry during the holiday season!!
